Issues in Child Development and Care

The upkeep of a suitable, well-balanced diet that contains the required calories and nutrients to sustain a child's physiologic needs at various stages of development and to promote growth is known as pediatric nutrition. The nutritional needs of children vary significantly depending on age, level of activity, and environmental circumstances. These needs are directly linked to the pace of development. Breastfeeding helps a child's immune system develop by providing essential nutrients that are absent from infant formula.
